I chose Ria as she has a very kind face, and I am so pleased to have chosen her as she is an excellent tutor and very encouraging and the lessons are really enjoyable.
I am very pleased with Ria, she is really pushing me hard it's good for me, I can see that I am improving. She is a good teacher I am very happy and would recommend her for teaching Dutch. My lessons are very good full of conversation which has helped me improve, it takes time for me to pick up some words, but Ria is full of encouragement for me, she is really great. Sue
Ria is a fantastic teacher; I find her approach to be friendly and relaxed. The pace of the lessons works well for me as I'm learning gradually. Ria is flexible with times and dates for lessons which really helps with my busy schedule. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher for anyone who wants to learn Dutch, I'm a complete beginner and have made some great progress (according to my Dutch boyfriend) under her guidance.
I feel very comfortable in my lessons with Ria, she is very supportive and sets the pace of our lessons so that we work at a pace that works for me. I like that the lessons are flexible, which means that I can fit them around my work schedule and that there is no pressure to have improved each week. Given that my revision has to fit around my work and life commitments. Ria checks in with me often to ask how I am finding the lessons. This is great because I can feed back to make sure the lessons are of benefit to me. I would highly recommend working with Ria to anyone wishing to learn the language.

Working with Ria has been a great experience. We balance working on the formal curriculum with other topics that interest me, so the lessons are tailor made to my individual needs. Some lessons are very challenging, but we also revise the basics regularly so that steady progress is made. Ria is professional but also warm and welcoming and she puts me at ease when practicing speaking in Dutch. The lessons cover not just language but also Dutch culture. I still have a lot to learn but I know with Ria’s help I’ll get there in time!
