My husband, daughter and I go as a family, we are made to feel at home and enjoy our lessons. Just had our third lesson and and as always look forward to going each week. We really like the face to face lessons.
I found Ria to be an excellent tutor. She is friendly, understanding and patient. She quickly identified the best way I learn and adapted the lesson accordingly. The pace of the lesson and the techniques used were effective and her advice and guidance when meeting Dutch natives was invaluable. I would recommend Ria as a tutor to anyone.
I was initially nervous about beginning 1-2-1 Dutch lessons, but Ria made me feel so welcome and at ease. Her lessons are hard, certainly - but always tailored to meet my needs, often ad-libbing which really makes things interesting! We also cover many aspects of Dutch culture as well as the language, which really enhances my learning. I have also on several occasions partaken in a Skype lesson, when I cannot physically attend, and have enjoyed them all the same. I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend Ria: she is kind, funny and (most importantly) she inspires me to keep learning!
Finding Ria and asking her to teach me Dutch is one of the best decisions I have made. Ria has a very warm, kind, and patient, teaching manner which immediately puts you at ease- and she is also quick to encourage and re- assure. I always enjoy our lessons and look forward to the next one. The text book Ria uses introduces you to Dutch in a very comfortable, but clever way! Learning a language can be difficult and overwhelming at times, but now- with the right teacher I know it can be achieved. I really look forward to one day speaking fluent Dutch, all thanks to Ria and her teaching technique- which she applies in such a capable, and caring way.
I have just started skype lessons with Ria. I am enjoying them immensely, we are moving at a good pace for me. In addition to the learning, we have a good laugh, which makes the lessons more fun...
I have recently started to learn Dutch, as an absolute beginner, with Ria. I have one-to-one lessons via Skype which works extremely well for me. Learning any new language is naturally challenging and you make plenty of mistakes in the lessons, but Ria always puts you at your ease and there is absolutely none of the fear of failure that I remember from school lessons: it is fun! Dutch is a wonderful language and I have no doubt that I made the right choice of teacher.
I’m very pleased to have met Ria, a lovely lady and my 10 year old daughter’s Dutch language teacher, she’s an amazing teacher who keeps my child very interested in the lessons! I noticed last week how quickly my daughter has progressed, I’m very happy!!
